Apex Group Ltd is seeking a Business Development Director for its Investment Advisory (IA) division. The role will focus on growing the client base in the Middle East, targeting institutional investors, family offices, and banks. The ideal candidate will have a strong existing network in the Middle East and a successful background in Investment Advisory, capital raising for private market funds, and strategic relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement business development plans to ensure Apex’s IA sustainable growth in the Middle East.

Lead and execute the regional sales strategy for Apex IA.

Work closely with Marketing and Group Head of Investment Advisory to position Apex’s expertise and capabilities.

Build and nurture relationships with allocators, influencers, and professional associations to generate leads and close deals.

Provide market feedback to the business, enabling intelligence-driven product development.

Manage responses to relevant Tenders/RFPs.
Required Skills & Expertise:

7-10+ years of relevant institutional sales experience.

Established allocator network in the Middle East.

Experience in investment consulting or in a sales/CRM role at a private markets GP (Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Private Credit, Infrastructure, or Real Estate).

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Team-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
