Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vehicular Bridges Structural Inspector to conduct comprehensive inspections of bridge structures throughout the UAE. The role involves evaluating structural integrity, identifying defects, preparing technical reports, and coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams. This is a full-time, field-based position with competitive benefits and a focus on ensuring the safety and longevity of transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspections of bridge components (superstructure, substructure, deck, bearings, joints, parapets, etc.)

• Identify and document defects, structural deterioration, and material degradation

• Capture and record field data through measurements, photography, sketches, and notes

• Utilize inspection tools and equipment (e.g., crack gauges, rebound hammers, drones)

• Apply condition rating systems in line with AASHTO, FHWA, or local regulations

• Prepare thorough inspection reports with findings and actionable recommendations

• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule and prioritize repairs

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all site work

• Maintain records in bridge inventory and asset management systems

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Minimum 7 years of experience in bridge construction or structural inspection

• Strong knowledge of bridge inspection standards (AASHTO, FHWA, or local equivalents)

• Familiarity with structural defect analysis and deterioration mechanisms

• Proficient in technical report writing and inspection software/tools

• Valid UAE driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across sites

• Must currently reside in the UAE
