About the Role:
The Bridges skill group within Jacobs’ Transportation Business (People & Places Solutions) is expanding rapidly across the Middle East. We are seeking a talented Bridge Engineer (entry-level) to join our dynamic team. You will work on high-profile projects including long-span crossings, architecturally driven bridge designs, major infrastructure, and design-and-build schemes.

Your Impact:
You will support the delivery of technically sound, innovative bridge solutions while ensuring compliance with project management, quality standards, and client requirements. This role offers exposure to an international work environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver bridge project design tasks on schedule, within budget, and according to client specifications.

• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative and technically sound bridge design solutions.

• Produce bridge structure models, design calculations, and technical documentation under the guidance of Senior Bridge Engineers.

• Work closely with the BIM team to develop structural bridge models.

• Ensure strict adherence to quality management and design standards.

• Actively liaise with regional and global teams for project delivery and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

• Demonstrated record of academic excellence.

• Strong drive, determination, and passion for professional and personal development.

• Teamwork and communication skills suitable for collaborative and diverse environments.

• Proficiency in structural modeling software (MIDAS, RM, Structural Bridge Design) and BIM.

• Sound knowledge of Eurocodes, DMRB, and AASHTO standards.

• Flexible to travel for short-term assignments within GCC countries.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in bridge design or structural engineering.

• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.

• Bi-lingual capabilities (Arabic and English preferred).

• Progressing toward membership/accreditation with a professional engineering council or body.
