American Hospital Dubai is seeking a qualified Breast Sonographer (Female) to join their prestigious healthcare team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality breast ultrasound examinations within the hospital’s Breast Care Unit and clinics. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining excellent patient care standards through clinical expertise, administrative duties, and active participation in infection control, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.

Role Overview:
The Breast Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-standard breast ultrasound imaging, assisting in clinical procedures, and supporting the Breast Care Unit’s operational and quality goals. The role includes administrative responsibilities related to infection control, risk management, and hospital-wide in-service activities.
Responsibilities:

Perform breast ultrasound examinations as per clinical protocols and hospital standards.

Assist with procedures and processes within the Breast Care Department.

Participate in daily administrative duties, including infection control and risk management tasks.

Support departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Ensure high levels of patient care, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
Skills and Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound/Medical Imaging (minimum three-year course duration).

Active registration from the relevant home country medical council.

DHA License or DHA Eligibility with a positive Dataflow (PSV) report.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Breast Ultrasound.

Strong attention to patient care, clinical quality, and infection control practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
