The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is looking for an experienced Brand and Design Section Head to lead the creative and brand initiatives within the organization. The role requires a highly skilled leader with 12-14 years of progressive experience in brand leadership, ideally within the Museums, Arts, or Cultural sectors. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital branding and content standards and will be responsible for overseeing creative direction, brand development, and integrated campaigns.
Responsibilities:

Strategic Brand Leadership: Drive brand vision, positioning, and identity across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market relevance.

Creative Direction & Design Oversight: Lead the creative direction for campaigns, particularly pre-opening and opening launch campaigns, and establish brand guidelines to ensure innovation and coherence across all channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and business teams to ensure brand strategy integration into museum experiences, marketing collateral, and program initiatives.

Team Development & Management: Mentor and manage the Brand & Design team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

12-14 years of progressive experience in brand leadership (preferably within Museums, Arts, or Cultural sectors).

4-6 years of leadership or managerial experience.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Strong understanding of digital branding, content standards, and integrated campaign design.

Fluent in Arabic and English (both spoken and written).
