Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Biologist to join The Green Planet, a unique indoor tropical rainforest located in City Walk, Dubai. The role involves caring for animals and plants, engaging with guests through educational experiences, and supporting conservation and sustainability initiatives.

As a Biologist, you will play a key part in maintaining the health, welfare, and habitats of animals and plants, while providing an exceptional guest experience that aligns with Green Planet’s mission to inspire environmental awareness and appreciation of nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative interactions with guests about animals, plants, and exhibits.

• Maintain a friendly, professional, and approachable attitude that reflects the Green Planet brand values.

• Coordinate daily operations involving animal and plant care, including feeding, health monitoring, and medical treatments.

• Support facility preparations for special events, exclusive experiences, and educational programs.

• Monitor Life Support Systems (LSS) operations and report updates to the Curator.

• Participate in exhibit maintenance, improvements, and animal habitat updates.

• Prepare animal diets and nutritional plans as per established standards.

• Conduct inventory management for supplies and assist in curatorial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with all operational and safety procedures.

• Promote guest satisfaction through attentive communication and professional service.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Zoology, or related field, or 3+ years of experience in a zoological, aquarium, or similar facility.

• Strong understanding of plant and animal biology, care techniques, and environmental systems.

• Experience with animal handling, feeding, and public educational interactions.

• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.

• Ability to work within the Curatorial and Maintenance/LSS departments effectively.

• High ethical standards and passion for conservation, education, and sustainability.
