RSI UAE is seeking a Bilingual SENDco (AR-EN) to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The role involves creating tailored educational plans, coordinating with teachers, and liaising with parents. The SENDco will monitor student progress, ensure compliance with educational policies, and provide ongoing support to all stakeholders in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.

• Assess student needs and monitor progress using various assessment tools.

• Work closely with teachers to ensure appropriate provisions are made for SEND students.

• Liaise with parents to provide updates on student progress and conduct workshops.

• Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations related to SEND.

• Provide guidance and support for the SEND team and staff.

• Maintain accurate records of assessments and progress for all students with SEND.

• Inspire, motivate, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Job Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills for assessing student needs and progress.

• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.

• Experience in special education and understanding of SEND-related policies and regulations.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work within a SEND team and collaborate with other professionals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree or SEND-related qualifications are a plus.

• Ability to provide guidance to teachers and parents through workshops and meetings.
