We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista who is proficient in preparing a variety of specialty coffee and tea beverages, with a particular emphasis on premium matcha drinks. This role also involves supporting the kitchen team with light food preparation duties, helping maintain smooth operations and a seamless flow between front and back of house.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare specialty coffee and tea beverages, focusing on high-quality matcha preparation techniques (traditional whisking and modern methods).

• Provide warm, attentive customer service, contributing to a welcoming and inviting environment.

• Assist the chef with basic kitchen tasks including food prep, dessert plating, and maintaining cleanliness.

• Ensure all barista and kitchen workstations, equipment, and tools are clean, organized, and properly maintained.

• Manage inventory of barista supplies and support ordering processes as needed.

• Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and health standards at all times.

• Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal drinks and menu specials.

Qualifications:

• Proven prior experience as a barista, with demonstrated expertise in matcha beverage preparation.

• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and a willingness to assist with simple prep duties.

• Passion for coffee, tea, food, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

• Food handling certification is a plus.
