Job Title: Bank & Treasury Accountant 

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bank & Treasury Accountant to join a leading FMCG company based in Dubai, renowned for importing and exporting premium fresh fruits and vegetables across global markets.

This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong expertise in banking operations, treasury functions, and ERP systems, looking to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Treasury & Banking Accounting Function by ensuring the accuracy of general ledger (GL) balances through meticulous reconciliation with bank statements.

• Implement robust internal controls and ensure full compliance with company policies for managing supplier information in both ERP and banking systems.

• Review and reconcile Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs)—both issued and received—against subledgers to eliminate discrepancies in the trial balance.

• Serve as an ERP super user for banking, treasury, and cheque-return modules—specifically in M3 ERP—and proactively reduce manual accounting processes.

• Collaborate closely with internal finance and audit teams to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation within treasury operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Bank & Treasury roles within a large FMCG environment.

• Hands-on experience managing multi-currency bank accounts and Forex transactions.

• Advanced skills in Excel and MS Office are essential.

• Professional qualification such as CPA (US), CFA, CA, or equivalent is required.

• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP systems; familiarity with M3 ERP is a strong plus.

• Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
