Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Automation Lead – Microsoft Power Platform to drive organization-wide low-code and automation initiatives. The role is responsible for designing enterprise-grade automation solutions, establishing governance frameworks, and aligning technology strategy with business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, champion best practices, and enable scalable digital transformation through AI-powered automation and data insights.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Architecture & Platform Governance

• Design and implement automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.

• Define governance models, security policies, solution standards, and environment strategies.

• Oversee solution lifecycle management from design to deployment, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.

• Build reusable frameworks, components, and templates for continuous improvement.

Enterprise Integration & Solution Fitment

• Evaluate business automation needs and recommend solution fitment.

• Architect integrations with ERP, CRM, SharePoint, Azure, SQL Server, and custom systems.

• Establish integration patterns leveraging APIs, Microsoft Graph, and Azure connectors.

• Drive adoption of AI copilots and conversational automation capabilities.

Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and mentor low-code and automation teams across development environments.

• Define delivery methodologies, coding standards, and review processes.

• Act as the technical escalation point and ensure delivery quality, timelines, and risk mitigation.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Facilitate workshops to identify automation opportunities and assess ROI.

• Communicate progress and strategies to senior stakeholders and project sponsors.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Promote AI-enabled automation and Power Platform innovations.

• Optimize cost, performance, governance, and maintainability.

• Stay current with Microsoft releases and proactively embed new features.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 10+ years in application development, including 5+ years leading Power Platform initiatives.

• Expertise across Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.

• Strong experience with governance frameworks and CoE models.

• Hands-on integration experience with Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, Oracle, and CRM platforms.

• Knowledge of PowerFX, SQL, and scripting for automation orchestration.

• Proven track record managing multi-team deliveries and agile sprints.
