DEC Dynamic Design Studio L.L.C is seeking an experienced Authority Liaison Architect to ensure regulatory compliance across all projects. This role involves managing permits, coordinating with authorities, and mitigating regulatory risks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in local laws, codes, and standards, along with strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with governmental bodies and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and ensure compliance with regulations, laws, codes, and standards throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage permit applications, securing approvals from regulatory agencies while addressing concerns and modifications.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of regulatory requirements, approvals, and agency correspondence.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance issues and propose mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between project teams and regulatory authorities, coordinating meetings and updates.
• Monitor regulatory developments, provide guidance, and prepare compliance reports.
• Offer consultation on regulatory matters, recommending design adjustments for compliance.
• Resolve disputes with authorities and stakeholders regarding compliance issues.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance compliance processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Urban Planning.
• Proven experience in regulatory compliance within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors.
• Strong understanding of local laws, codes, and standards relevant to architecture and construction.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
