Job Summary:
Encore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Engineer to join its Dubai-based team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing technical standards, mentoring team members, and ensuring the smooth execution of complex audio setups and live event productions. This is a hands-on role that combines technical acumen, leadership, and direct client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor technicians in configuring and operating advanced audio equipment.

• Stay current with industry technology trends and provide internal training on new equipment.

• Manage on-site teams and oversee the setup, operation, and de-rigging of audio systems.

• Operate and troubleshoot audio systems during live shows and events.

• Collaborate with Project Managers for planning and equipment specifications.

• Conduct equipment maintenance, including cleaning, testing, fault-finding, and repairs.

• Perform installations independently according to designated layout plans.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and contribute to annual audits.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies at all times.

• Provide customer-facing support with professionalism and technical confidence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the audio and live event production industry.

• Strong leadership qualities and experience leading crews during live events.

• Deep technical knowledge of professional audio equipment and troubleshooting.

• Ability to read and understand technical schematics and plans.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Proven experience in fault finding and problem resolution under pressure.

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
