Role Description:
The ATC (Automatic Train Control) Manager will lead, plan, and monitor the engineering and maintenance teams responsible for the ATC system of the Dubai Metro. The role ensures optimal performance, safety, and operational efficiency of signaling and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the ATC team and manage all aspects of engineering and maintenance for the automatic train control system.

• Support System Engineering Manager in budgeting, resource allocation, and maintenance planning.

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of central control, vehicle onboard equipment, and lineside systems.

• Provide technical guidance, system assurance, and training within the Engineering & Maintenance Department.

• Propose improvements and implement modifications to enhance system performance.

• Act as liaison for external parties, professional bodies, and industry groups.

• Respond to incidents and emergencies as part of a 24-hour on-call duty.

• Monitor performance, budget compliance, and adherence to KPIs.

Requirements:

• Degree or higher diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Membership of a recognized engineering institution; IRSE certification preferred.

• Relevant experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of signaling and ATC systems.

• Proven management experience with ability to lead maintenance teams and minimize downtime.

• Knowledge of fixed block and moving block signaling, software-based interlocking, and on-board/wayside equipment.

• Thorough understanding of railway safety protocols and operational procedures.

• Valid UAE driving license.
