KBR, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Payroll Specialist to join its Payroll Processing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will handle payroll processing for the US and other regions, manage employee payroll queries, and support compliance with tax and labor regulations. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to develop their career in payroll operations and data analytics within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process US weekly and biweekly payrolls accurately and on time.

• Manage and respond to employee payroll-related queries via phone and email.

• Process timesheet inputs using Costpoint and MS Dynamics systems.

• Handle one-time earnings and deduction entries.

• Organize payroll check production and related documentation.

• Support Dubai Shared Services payroll operations as directed.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements.

• Cross-train on payroll processing and taxation for other countries.

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local payroll laws, including tax, wage, and hour regulations.

• Maintain payroll records and support audits as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in payroll processing for US, UK, or Canada preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP, MS Dynamics (ERP), and Workday payroll systems is a plus.

• Strong understanding of tax regulations, garnishments, and compliance requirements.

• Proficient in MS Office and data analytics tools.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to work efficiently under direct supervision and meet deadlines.
