Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate – Internal Audit (Temporary Position) to support its Internal Audit Department. The successful candidate will assist in executing comprehensive audits, including IT systems, business processes, and core operations, while helping ensure compliance with national and international standards. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly regulated environment with a focus on continuous process improvement, risk mitigation, and audit excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing a risk-based internal audit plan by identifying business-critical areas

• Communicate audit scopes and timelines to departments; follow up on open audit issues

• Prepare risk and control matrices, audit documentation, and weekly audit status updates

• Conduct audits across business operations and IT systems (applications, infrastructure, etc.)

• Review internal controls, IT security protocols, and compliance with regulatory frameworks

• Audit core business areas including HR, procurement, finance, and customer service

• Use data analytics tools to perform efficient audits and identify high-risk areas

• Evaluate general computing controls, infrastructure security, and business continuity processes

• Recommend risk mitigation strategies and present findings to senior management

• Support the preparation of audit reports and deliverables for the Audit Committee

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Master’s or PhD preferred in a related discipline

• Professional certification(s) required (CISA, CISM, CIA, ISO 27001/22301 Lead Auditor, etc.)

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in both IT and business process audits

• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, NESA, NCEMA, and international audit standards

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and audit management software

• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and report writing skills
