A leading family investment office in Dubai is seeking a seasoned HR Associate Director to lead all HR functions in a standalone capacity. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role focuses on employee retention, development, and implementation of new HR systems, while managing daily HR operations for a close-knit team of around 15 people. Ideal for professionals with both MNC experience and startup/lean environment exposure, this role bridges strategic leadership with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the HR department and act as the primary HR advisor to the CEO

Design and implement strategies for talent retention, employee engagement, and leadership development

Oversee HR operations including payroll, visa processing, and compliance

Drive the full implementation of new HRIS or HR systems

Manage end-to-end talent acquisition and support business growth with the right hiring strategies

Foster a culture of performance, creativity, and continuous improvement

Operate effectively in both structured (multinational) and agile (family office/startup) settings
Qualifications:

8–10 years of HR generalist experience, with recent experience in stand-alone leadership roles

Proven success in employee development and retention programs

Hands-on experience in rolling out new HR technology or systems

Previous exposure to financial services, investment firms, or family offices is preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic HR and administrative tasks

Exceptional interpersonal and soft people management skills

Experience reporting directly to senior management or board-level leadership
