Chalhoub Group, a pioneer of luxury retail in the Middle East for over 70 years, is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Buyer to support its luxury buying and merchandising operations. This role plays a key part in product selection, assortment planning, and inventory management, ensuring the right products reach the market at the right time.
Working closely with Buying, Supply Chain, Planning, Marketing, and Logistics teams, the Associate Buyer will support seamless product flow across omnichannel retail platforms while contributing to commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Buying & Merchandising Support

Support the buying team in merchandise selection and assortment planning

Assist in analyzing sales performance, best-selling products, and stock coverage

Collect and consolidate quantitative and qualitative data to support buying decisions
Operational & Data Management

Maintain accurate product data entry across systems

Create and manage purchase orders in line with buying plans

Track inventory levels and support cost-effective product acquisition
Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, planning, and marketing teams to ensure timely product availability

Support on-time product launches by coordinating deliveries and stock readiness

Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal reviews and buying meetings
What You’ll Need to Succeed

1–3 years of experience in a similar buying or merchandising role, preferably within luxury retail

Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Clear and effective communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment
