Are you an experienced and passionate Architect looking to join a successful international firm in Dubai? Our client, a multidisciplinary firm delivering projects worldwide, is seeking an Associate Architect / Lead Architect with a minimum of 15 years’ experience to join their growing team.

This role focuses on leading and delivering projects during the design stage (not site-based). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior architects, project managers, and key stakeholders to develop and implement architectural plans and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning: Develop architectural concepts, designs, and plans for new construction projects and renovations, ensuring alignment with project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Research & Compliance: Conduct research on materials, building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques to support design decisions and ensure project compliance.
• Project Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate project drawings, blueprints, and specifications following industry standards.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including structural and mechanical engineers, to integrate design efforts.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand project goals, gather feedback, and effectively communicate design solutions.
• Sustainable Design: Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable design practices, including energy-efficient technologies and materials.
• Quality Control: Review architectural plans and drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to design principles.
• Construction Oversight: Provide design-related support during construction by responding to site queries, reviewing shop drawings, and resolving design issues.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best architectural practices to enhance individual and team capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 15+ years of experience in an architectural firm or related field.
• Proven expertise in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and relevant codes/regulations.
• GCC project experience is a must.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Creative problem-solving ability and adaptability to evolving project needs.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high-quality design documentation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
