Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a Assistant Store Manager to assist in the effective operation of our retail store. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing store operations, managing the team, and ensuring exceptional customer service is provided. The role also involves training and developing staff and stepping in for the line manager when needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide high levels of customer service and maintain a welcoming store environment.

  • Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day store operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Take responsibility for opening and closing the store in the absence of the line manager, adhering to all operational procedures.

  • Supervise the team to ensure all store duties are completed effectively and efficiently.

  • Ensure proper ticketing and pricing of items according to company policies.

  • Possess strong product knowledge to assist with customer inquiries and increase sales through add-on sales and effective product recommendations.

  • Oversee the delivery process, ensuring correct procedures are followed and discrepancies are investigated.

  • Handle cash and banking activities in accordance with company procedures, ensuring accuracy.

  • Participate in additional activities such as store stock takes, new store openings, and promotional events to drive sales and improve store operations.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of hardware and electronics.

  • Planning and coordination skills to manage store operations effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with the team and other business departments.

  • Project management skills to oversee store events and operational improvements.

What Equips You for the Role:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in a retail environment or previous supervisory roles in the service industry.
