Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel, a part of Marriott International, is hiring an Assistant Sales Manager – Groups & Events for its Dubai office. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals with at least 2 years of sales or event coordination experience in the hospitality industry. The candidate will be responsible for handling group bookings, event-related sales activities, and customer relationship management to drive revenue while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to guest calls, requests, and issues by coordinating with relevant departments

Employ effective sales techniques to maximize revenue and enhance guest loyalty

Process reservations, cancellations, and Marriott Rewards redemptions

Maintain accurate guest and sales records

Support the Sales & Marketing team with general administrative duties

Assist in motivating and training staff while serving as a role model

Build strong internal and external relationships to promote brand awareness

Maintain professional standards in appearance, communication, and guest service
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in sales or events in hospitality

Strong communication skills in English

Customer-focused with the ability to resolve issues efficiently

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Team player with a positive attitude

No supervisory experience required
