Role Overview

Guildhall is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Furniture & Interior Fit-Out to support the successful delivery of interior and furniture fit-out projects across Dubai. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating suppliers, installation teams, site activities, and project documentation to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of furniture and interior fit-out projects

• Track furniture manufacturing, delivery, and on-site installation schedules

• Liaise with suppliers, installers, consultants, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution

• Prepare and maintain project trackers, schedules, progress reports, and documentation

• Support material submittals, shop drawing coordination, approvals, and revisions

• Attend site meetings and prepare accurate Minutes of Meeting (MoM)

• Monitor site progress, identify potential delays, and report issues to the Project Manager

• Assist in preparing snag lists, punch lists, and handover documentation

• Support procurement activities, quotations, variation tracking, and cost control

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project records and filing systems

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management

• 1–3 years of experience in furniture fit-out or interior fit-out projects

• Basic understanding of furniture specifications, joinery, and fit-out processes

• Ability to interpret layout drawings and furniture schedules

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred

• Familiarity with project trackers, schedules, and reporting tools

Personal Attributes

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• High attention to detail and quality

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, site-based environment

Additional Details

• UAE experience is preferred

• Valid UAE driving license is required

• Willingness to attend site visits and work flexible hours when needed
