About the Role:
ARCCO is seeking an experienced Assistant Procurement Manager to join our team in the MEP & Civil contracting sector. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring all related goods and services, ensuring that we receive the best possible prices and maintain high-quality standards. You will work closely with buyers and suppliers, contributing to the effective procurement process and supporting our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
🔑 Procurement Management:

Review procurement documents and create purchase orders for MEP & Civil-related goods and services.

Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers to achieve cost-efficiency and quality.

Implement cost-reduction strategies and continuously monitor inventory control procedures.

Ensure procurement policies are followed and updated regularly to maintain compliance.
🔑 Vendor and Supplier Management:
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Monitor supplier performance and encourage continuous improvement in competitive bidding practices.

Evaluate vendor proposals, manage claims, losses, and review invoices to ensure transparency.
🔑 Inventory and Order Management:

Track and manage purchasing activities to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and personnel.

Open new accounts as needed and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management.

Develop systems for inventory control and ensure timely procurement of materials.
🔑 Collaboration & Coordination:

Attend technical meetings with clients and the project team to discuss material and equipment requirements.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to discuss procurement needs.

Maintain records and track project budgets, identifying variances and ensuring timely procurement of necessary resources.
🔑 Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve procurement operations through process enhancements.

Develop cost-control plans and contribute to the implementation of vendor performance monitoring systems.

Document procurement policies and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
Requirements:
🔑 Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain management.

Proven experience in MEP & Civil contracting procurement will be a strong advantage.
