Aldar Education is hiring an Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning at Mubarak Bin Mohammed Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2025/2026, starting August 2025. This American curriculum school is known for its strong sense of community and dedication to academic excellence. The successful candidate will help cultivate a culture of high-quality learning, support student success, and lead curriculum development across the school.

This is a leadership role that blends strategic planning, team management, curriculum development, and classroom excellence. The Assistant Principal will support the Principal in developing effective learning environments and ensure the school continues to deliver outstanding educational outcomes in line with Aldar’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Principal in driving a high-quality learning culture and creating an atmosphere where both staff and students are valued and challenged.

• Lead and manage curriculum planning, development, and implementation.

• Ensure effective teaching and learning strategies are embedded across the school.

• Support school-wide policies including Positive Behaviour and Anti-Bullying initiatives.

• Oversee the pastoral care of students and contribute to developing an inclusive school community.

• Monitor and evaluate teaching quality and student achievement, especially for vulnerable groups.

• Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider community to support student progress.

• Organize and lead CPD sessions and quality assurance programs in collaboration with the SLT.

• Maintain a teaching timetable and deliver outstanding lessons.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a teaching qualification.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in education, including 4 consecutive years of performance exceeding expectations.

• Strong teaching record with leadership experience in curriculum and staff development.

• Proficiency in Arabic and/or English depending on the curriculum and role requirements, as specified by UAE authorities.

• Successful completion of an interview with the Council and relevant language requirements.
