Standard Chartered is seeking an Assistant Manager, Specialized Collection, WRB (UAE National) to manage the collection processes, vendor coordination, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves overseeing legal and compliance matters and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize collection strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Collection Process Management: Renew and develop collection processes in line with group standards, regulations, and country laws.

Legal & Compliance Coordination: Work with legal and compliance teams regarding collection litigation, including cheque bounce complaints.

Performance Monitoring: Review the performance of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective outcomes.

Governance & Risk Management: Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks while ensuring effective governance.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed statistical reports and analysis to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Skills: Strong communication, writing, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in computer tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Language: Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are required.

Critical Thinking & Analysis: Ability to think critically, assess situations, and make informed decisions.
