Atlantis Resorts is seeking an Assistant Manager, Retail Operations to oversee daily retail activities at Atlantis The Palm and Aquaventure Waterpark. This role involves managing 30+ junior sales staff, ensuring high service standards, monitoring stock levels, and driving retail success in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Oversee daily retail operations across multiple outlets within Atlantis The Palm & Aquaventure Waterpark.
✅ Ensure high stock levels on the shop floor and communicate low stock needs.
✅ Conduct store visits, monitor merchandising, and maintain high service standards.
✅ Train, mentor, and develop sales clerks to enhance performance and customer experience.
✅ Assist in product selection and optimize store product mix for profitability.
✅ Promote strong team communication within the retail division and across the resort.
✅ Support business goals by focusing on sales, cash margin, and staff productivity.
Eligibility Criteria:
🔹 Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a multi-site retail environment.
- Experience in Waterpark/Theme Park Operations is highly preferred.
🔹 Preferred Skills & Qualities:
- Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide retail teams.
- Guest experience focus – ensuring visitors receive exceptional service.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-paced environments while maintaining service excellence.
- Confidence in training staff and optimizing retail operations.
