The Assistant Manager for Retail Festivals & Events (National Talent) will support the planning and execution of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), aligning with the goals of DFRE and DET. This role involves managing budgets, coordinating with stakeholders, and enhancing event experiences while ensuring compliance with regulations and strategic goals.
Core Functional Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and management of DSF event plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and adherence to project milestones.

Support the Festival Strategy and Planning team in creating event budgets, implementing financial controls, and measuring spending and performance.

Classify DSF events based on scope, audience profiles, duration, location, budget, and resources.

Help prepare and distribute communications to the Event Marketing team, facilitating targeted marketing strategies for DSF.

Collaborate with the procurement team on drafting RFPs/RFIs, supplier selection, and overseeing contracts.

Manage on-ground event/project delivery, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties, such as vendors, sponsors, and government authorities, ensuring smooth event execution and alignment with strategic goals.

Suggest and integrate creative content elements and activations to keep DSF engaging and aligned with global best practices in event management.
Qualifications:
