Grant Thornton UAE is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager (Generalist) for its Business Consulting team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead multiple client engagements, manage diverse projects across industries, and provide bespoke advisory services. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to driving business growth, nurturing talent, and delivering impactful solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client engagements in areas like business transformation, HR, finance, procurement, strategy development, and process improvement.

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and coordination among team members.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing internal and external communications.

  • Mentor and review performance of junior team members.

  • Support business development by creating proposals, pricing models, and client presentations.

  • Use BI tools like Power BI to develop dashboards and reports, providing data-driven insights.

  • Build strong client relationships and collaboratively solve business challenges.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in consulting or a related business function.

  • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: HR, finance, procurement, business transformation, cost reduction, and strategy development.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and spoken) in English; Arabic is a plus.

  • Proven experience managing diverse projects and leading client discussions.

  • Ability to manage project economics, documentation, and flexible problem-solving.

  • Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed.
