Assistant Manager – Human Resources

Nathan & Nathan is a leading provider of HR and business support services in the UAE. Our client, a global leader in flexible packaging solutions and part of an established international group with a strong presence in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – HR to join their team in Dubai.


Job Description:
The Assistant Manager – Human Resources will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations for a workforce of 500+ employees. The role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and workplace culture. This position reports directly to the Regional HR Manager for UAE & Oman.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

  • Partner with business units to support organizational growth and workforce planning.

  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance procedures.

  • Drive performance management, learning & development, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Draft and implement HR policies and ensure audit and documentation compliance.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE labor laws and ensure legal compliance.

  • Support employee engagement, workplace culture, and DE&I programs.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5–7 years of HR experience managing operations for 500+ employees.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in multicultural/international organizations is a plus.

  • Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors is preferred.


Compensation:

  • Salary: AED 20,000–25,000/month

  • Benefits: Standard company-provided benefits package
