Job Title: Assistant Manager
Job Description:

Nair Systems specializes in cutting-edge domains such as Digital Banking, AI, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and RPA. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Financial Control to support our growing UAE operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Ledger & Chart of Accounts Management:

Conduct periodic GL reviews and assign ownership for each account.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of balance sheet substantiation submissions.

Support Chart of Accounts (COA) maintenance, including creating and updating GL and office accounts.
2. GL Substantiation & Reconciliation:
-
Perform daily variance analysis of the trial balance to flag discrepancies or irregularities.

Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual GL reconciliations with full documentation and timely resolution of issues.

Collaborate with departments to improve reconciliation procedures as per financial control policies.
3. Internal Controls & Compliance (ICFR & RCSA):

Lead testing of internal controls over financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with ICFR standards and support the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.

Monitor financial risks, document exceptions, and report issues to senior management.
4. Process Optimization & Automation:

Identify opportunities to streamline financial control processes.

Collaborate with IT teams to implement automation in reconciliation and reporting.

Reduce manual processes by enhancing system-driven controls.
5. System Implementation & Interface Management:
-
Support implementation and upgrades of finance-related systems.

Work closely with IT and finance teams to align system settings with operational needs.

Review system interfaces regularly for data consistency and address technical issues in coordination with IT.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

Certification: CPA, ACCA, CA (mandatory).

Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years in the banking industry post-degree.
-
At least 3 years in Financial Control and ICFR functions.

Essential Skills:
-
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and banking systems.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
-
Self-driven, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
