Key Responsibilities

• Lead the school’s pastoral care systems to promote student well-being

• Oversee behavior policies, safeguarding practices, attendance, and punctuality

• Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and staff to cultivate a positive school culture

• Mentor and support staff in pastoral strategies and mental health best practices

• Develop and monitor the school house system, organize assemblies and themed events

• Manage bus operations in collaboration with the Vice Principal

• Promote a positive behavior curriculum across all year levels

• Ensure uniform standards and support in-class teaching as needed

• Support senior leadership with all aspects of pastoral strategy and delivery

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a leader who demonstrates:

• Proven success in pastoral leadership within a school environment

• Strong expertise in safeguarding, student welfare, and behavior management

• Passion for inclusive education and student-centered leadership

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead and inspire a team with integrity and empathy

Qualifications & Experience

• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)

• Minimum of two years’ leadership experience in a pastoral role

• Experience working within the UK education system

• Culturally responsive and experienced in a diverse, international school community
