Job Title: Assistant Facility Manager 

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Assistant Facility Manager to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities within the real estate and construction sectors. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that properties are well-maintained, compliant with safety standards, and running efficiently.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Facility Manager and external stakeholders including vendors, contractors, and tenants. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of facility management, including maintenance, repairs, and small-scale renovations.

  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to complete maintenance tasks promptly and professionally.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure safety compliance.

  • Assist in creating and updating facility management procedures and maintenance schedules.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, vendor records, and inventory reports.

  • Provide input on budgeting and cost control for facility-related expenses.

  • Act as a point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Support compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Participate in emergency response planning and safety drills.

  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 1–5 years in facility or operations management.

  • Location: Based in the United Arab Emirates.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety practices.

    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Familiarity with budgeting, reporting, and project management.

    • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
