JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Engineering Manager to join its team of professionals in the heart of Dubai. This full-time, on-site role offers a unique opportunity to work in one of the world’s tallest and most luxurious hotels, located along the bustling Sheikh Zayed Road.

As an Assistant Engineering Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering department to ensure the safety, efficiency, and superior maintenance of the hotel’s infrastructure. You will work collaboratively across departments to deliver world-class guest experiences through excellent product upkeep and smooth operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering operations to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction and product quality.

• Conduct facility inspections and ensure the proper functioning of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

• Oversee repairs, replacements, and renovation projects across public and back-of-house areas.

• Comply with safety protocols, emergency procedures, and purchasing policies.

• Contribute to energy conservation and preventive maintenance initiatives.

• Assist in setting and achieving department goals aligned with long-term objectives.

• Communicate effectively with internal departments and conduct daily team briefings.

• Handle guest-related engineering issues and provide proactive solutions.

• Liaise with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with system updates (Transcendent, Guest ware, etc.).

• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment and support special projects.

• Ensure associates have proper equipment, supplies, and uniforms.

• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and ongoing communication across the team.
