Asset Manager

Halliburton is looking for a seasoned Asset Manager to join their team in Dubai. This role is responsible for managing the full life cycle of oil and gas assets, from field assessment to hydrocarbon monetization, with an emphasis on collaboration, technical expertise, and financial performance.

The Asset Manager will evaluate, assess, and manage integrated activities and processes related to production systems, ensuring that oil and gas fields are developed and produced efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Asset Management: Manage the integrated set of activities to appraise, develop, and produce oil and gas fields, from reservoir performance to custody transfer.

  • Financial Oversight: Responsible for the financial performance (P/L) of assigned assets through effective planning, resource management, and decision-making.

  • Collaboration: Work with multi-disciplinary teams, subject matter experts, and Halliburton clients to maximize asset value and improve outcomes.

  • Project Lifecycle: Lead and direct asset teams through the entire project lifecycle, from screening and evaluation to deployment, execution, and close-out.

  • Cost Optimization: Contribute to value creation through cost optimization, technical innovation, and improved recovery of hydrocarbon reserves.

  • Interface with Partners: Serve as the primary interface with partners for project operations and represent the company in technical and commercial matters.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the technical quality of work and administer contract provisions related to the execution of work.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of diverse experience in the Exploration and Production (E&P) industry, including at least 5 years with an operator.

  • Skills: Strong financial management, technical expertise, and experience with multi-discipline asset teams.

  • Professional Certification: Registration as a licensed/chartered professional engineer is preferred.

  • Language Skills: Arabic speaker preferred.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of the full integrated production system, from reservoir to surface facilities.

  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage both technical and commercial aspects of projects.

  • Proven track record of contributing to cost optimization, technical innovation, and increased production.
