Job Description

Condé Nast Middle East is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Art Production Manager for a 4-month maternity cover contract, supporting GQ Middle East. The successful candidate will serve as a critical link between editorial, creative, and operations teams, ensuring high-quality content delivery and seamless story production.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GQ Middle East leadership and editorial teams

• Traffic digital and print content through the editorial workflow

• Distribute PDFs, gather editorial assets, and maintain timely approvals

• Adapt layouts for global syndication using local templates

• Ensure layout quality before press submission

• Liaise with repro/print production and provide retouching notes

• Maintain editorial communication via Slack

• Track syndication data and editorial page counts

• Occasionally assist with design tasks when needed

• Implement and uphold quality control standards

• Stay informed on trends in visual content and production workflows

• Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the Technology team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in media, publishing, or a related field

• Strong skills in Adobe InDesign; Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus

• Familiarity with K4 or similar content management systems is an advantage

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

• Effective multitasker who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments

• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)

• Solid visual sense and understanding of layout, print, and image workflows
