Guardian Industries is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Architectural Design Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid technical sales position that combines architectural expertise with sales, making it a unique opportunity for someone passionate about promoting high-end glass products within the Middle East architecture and construction industry.
You will be responsible for visiting and collaborating with architects, façade consultants, developers, and contractors to support our sales activities in the UAE region. While remote work is possible, the preference is for candidates to be based in Dubai or Sharjah, as most of our customers are located in the Dubai region.
As part of our team, you will be at the forefront of promoting glass and façade technologies, assisting partners with technical processes, and ensuring the successful specification of our products in construction projects.
Responsibilities:

Track and analyze market intelligence on key regional clients, including developers, architects, and contractors.

Develop and maintain relationships with architects and consultants, offering collaboration on new projects and technical support.

Gather information on construction projects and identify business opportunities in the inception phase.

Assist architects in drafting glass specifications and ensure project designs are aligned with product requirements.

Conduct educational sessions on glass technologies to stakeholders.

Oversee the sample delivery process and collaborate with the technical support team to resolve technical issues.

Monitor the conversion of leads and work closely with the Territory Sales Management team.

Continuously expand the business network and support the strategic goals of the company.
Skills Required:

A background in business, engineering, architecture, or relevant experience.

Proven sales experience in a B2B environment, particularly in the building material industry, with a focus on working with architects and contractors.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to present and negotiate effectively.

Experience with project management, prioritization, and decision-making.

Self-starter mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Fluency in English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:

Sales experience and technical knowledge in coated glass products and aluminum systems.

Strong technical expertise in the glass industry and related technologies.

Experience with architectural design review and specifying processes from inception to completion.

Familiarity with using Salesforce for managing client relationships and sales tracking.
