Position Summary:

Novus Project Management Services, in collaboration with MADOTA Technical Services, is seeking a highly skilled Architectural & Interior Design Coordinator to lead and manage design activities for high-end villa projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will act as the key liaison between the client, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of architectural and interior design components from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Stakeholder Coordination:

• Serve as the primary representative for the developer/client, ensuring design intent aligns with project goals and expectations.

• Manage communication between clients, contractors, consultants, and project engineers on all architectural and interior aspects.

• Facilitate stakeholder approvals for designs, samples, and mock-ups as per contract deliverables.

Design Management & Execution:

• Lead the architectural and interior design coordination for both renovation and new-build projects.

• Develop and review FF&E selections to deliver stylish, functional interiors.

• Collaborate with consultants to prepare all design documentation for tendering and site execution.

• Support project planning by assisting in the development of the Design Management and Project Execution Plans.

• Administer internal and external tendering in line with procurement strategies.

• Ensure all designs are developed and delivered within allocated budgets.

Technical Review & Compliance:

• Coordinate with design consultants to secure complete and accurate design packages.

• Review consultant drawings and submittals for quality and compliance prior to client approval.

• Prepare comprehensive FF&E presentations and finishes for client review.

• Oversee shop drawing and material submittals, ensuring alignment with project standards and specifications.

• Interface with local authorities for regulatory compliance.

Site Supervision & Execution:

• Conduct regular site visits and design workshops with civil, MEP, and fit-out teams.

• Ensure proper FF&E handover and implementation according to client/operator expectations.

• Monitor installation quality, provide inspection reports, and prepare snag lists.

• Support on-site resolution of design challenges during execution.

• Coordinate power/data requirements for FF&E installation.

• Oversee completion of as-built drawings and O&M manuals for final client handover.

Supplier & Vendor Management:

• Identify and collaborate with premium suppliers and manufacturers.

• Liaise with sub-consultants (lighting, landscaping, graphics) to integrate all design disciplines.

• Conduct supplier pre-qualification inspections for furniture, lighting, and finishes.

Quality Assurance & Data Management:

• Perform design reviews, constructability assessments, and QA/QC evaluations.

• Maintain high design quality from concept through to completion.

• Evaluate consultant and contractor performance and compile preferred supplier/consultant lists.

• Manage and update material libraries, mood boards, and FF&E control documentation for future reference.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in architectural coordination, especially in luxury villa projects.

• Background in site architecture is essential.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of architectural detailing, construction materials, and FF&E.

• Strong understanding of design processes and local construction standards.

• Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM360, SketchUp, Photoshop, and related tools.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant project experience is required.

Salary:

AED 8,000 – 15,000/month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
