Employment: Full Time | Location: Dubai, UAE

Our Tier 1 main contracting client is seeking a skilled Architectural Coordinator to join their team in Dubai. This role will focus on high-profile new build high-rise projects. The successful candidate should have a solid background in architectural coordination, with expertise in RCC frames, structural steel, and rebar. Preference will be given to those with experience at leading main contracting companies in the UAE.

📅 Contract: Immediate start. Initial 3–6 month outsourced contract via J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to permanent staff after 6 months if mutually agreed.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage tender and IFC information models (2D drawings, BIM models, asset data) in line with ISO19650 standards.

• Resolve conflicting design elements through RFIs, CVIs, workshops, and proactive communication.

• Support the Design Manager in developing the Project Design Management Plan, Project Execution Plan, QA/QC Plan, and other required documentation.

• Facilitate multi-disciplinary coordination and proactively identify and resolve constraints.

• Prepare and manage technical queries (RFIs & CVIs) to ensure design clarity.

• Review subcontractor work, identifying and addressing technical deviations.

• Ensure modelers and draftsmen receive accurate and updated information for shop drawing preparation.

• Coordinate subcontractor submissions and review DFC, EI, and DCR.

• Oversee compliance of subcontractor shop drawings with specifications and contract requirements.

• Maintain and update drawing delivery schedules, coordinating with document controllers for distribution.

• Contribute to materials submittals, site queries, and method statements.

• Collaborate with planning teams to update project schedules.

• Support design abortive work claims related to IFC changes.

• Participate in value engineering processes to optimize design and cost.

• Manage the as-built/redline process, ensuring accuracy of final documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior architectural coordinator or similar role.

• Proven experience working on high-rise projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit for design review.

• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, and tools like Revizto or Navisworks.

• Experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE) and knowledge of BIM principles.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary

AED 12,000 – 18,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
