Zircon Dècor, a reputed interior design office based in Abu Dhabi, is hiring an Architect / FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specialist. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone with strong design sensibility, technical knowledge, and experience in FF&E selection, procurement, and installation. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, maintain high design standards, and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage FF&E documentation packages, schedules, control books, and procurement workflows

• Review and oversee furniture installation plans, shop drawings, and submittals for accuracy and alignment with design vision

• Act as the primary point of contact for the purchasing agent

• Evaluate material and furniture samples for compliance with design and specification standards

• Specify furniture, materials, finishes, and accessories in line with client briefs and project narratives

• Assist in developing FF&E budgets and preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

• Present design concepts and material palettes to clients, explaining the design rationale

• Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure quality standards

• Manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet strict deadlines across concurrent projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional background in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field

• Proven experience with FF&E documentation and procurement processes

• Strong aesthetic judgment and understanding of materials and finishes

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client engagement

• Ability to coordinate between design and procurement teams effectively

• Experience in preparing BOQs and managing budgets

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Capable of working independently and within a collaborative team environment
