Job Title: Application/Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Application/Software Engineer to join our team and take the lead in managing system updates, change requests, and operational support. This role requires close coordination with SRTA, STEE AD, remote teams, and vendors for software-related tasks, and the successful candidate will oversee Java-based backend development, updates, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Updates & Change Management: Lead the management and coordination of system updates and change requests, ensuring smooth operation and integration with relevant teams and vendors.

• Java Backend Development: Lead and manage Java-based backend development and related change requests to improve software functionality.

• Ongoing Support & Troubleshooting: Oversee ongoing support, patch management, and troubleshooting for existing applications to maintain optimal performance.

• Testing & Deployment: Assist in the testing and deployment of software updates and enhancements, ensuring seamless implementation of new features.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project coordination, Java backend system management, or managed services.

• Leadership: Proven experience in leading software development teams and coordinating software updates and change requests.

• Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Age: 25 – 40 years old.

• Location: Residence in the United Arab Emirates.
