Job Title: Application Engineer 

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to support our Sales Department. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between the technical and commercial sides of the business—handling everything from customer inquiries to the preparation of technical submittals and quotations. Your role is essential in ensuring efficient sales operations, client satisfaction, and technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

📑 Quotations & Sales Support

• Prepare accurate and detailed quotations based on specifications from sales engineers

• Generate and present analytical reports related to pricing and quotations for management

• Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all quotations

• Manage and update the quotation database

• Assist sales engineers with product specifications and pricing queries

• Respond to customer inquiries in the absence of sales engineers

• Handle incoming sales calls and provide relevant information to clients

📊 Technical Submittals & Documentation

• Create complete technical submittals including data sheets, material schedules, and compliance documents

• Select pumps, valves, and control valves based on project flow rates and specs

• Prepare sample boards per submittal specifications

• Address consultant feedback in collaboration with the management team

• Keep the technical submittals database updated

• Submit regular reports on technical documentation activities

🗂 General Duties & Coordination

• Forward non-scope product inquiries to management

• Analyze competitor pricing and prepare comparative reports

• Organize and prepare materials for sales meetings (agendas, minutes, presentations)

• Work closely with Sales Engineers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to streamline reporting and communication with management

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in application engineering or technical sales coordination

• Experience in mechanical products, particularly in the construction/design industry, is a strong advantage

• A well-connected network in the construction or design sector is a plus
