Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer – Connected Car Services to join our growing team in Dubai. You will support and enhance backend applications and cloud infrastructure for connected vehicle services (Hyundai, KIA, Genesis). This role requires expertise in cloud technologies, backend systems, and automotive connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, and improve connected car service applications and systems.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform problem management, and implement operational improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance backend functionality.

• Work closely with cloud platforms (especially AWS) and support applications using modern backend technologies.

• Develop technical solutions for new and existing systems based on business needs.

• Ensure system stability, security, and continuous integration/delivery using modern DevOps practices.

Candidate Requirements:

Mandatory:

• 6+ years of experience in application development or technical support.

• 3+ years of experience in backend application support using Java, .NET, C#, Python, SQL or similar stacks.

• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

• Proficient in web services (SOAP/XML) and CI/CD tools.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Preferred:

• Experience in automotive connectivity or infotainment/IoT domain.

• Intermediate proficiency in Korean or Arabic.

• IT project management or stakeholder coordination experience.

• Familiarity with mobility or telematics system workflows.

Job Conditions:

• Start Date: 1 March 2025 (negotiable)

• Contract: Permanent (6-month probation)

• Work Hours: ~40+ hours/week

• Annual Leave: 22 working days
