🧾 Job Summary

We are hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to support the finance team in managing and maintaining accurate and timely processing of payables. The ideal candidate will have experience in the FMCG sector, strong reconciliation skills, and proficiency in Excel and IFRS16.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness.

• Process payments in accordance with company policies and payment terms.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial documents.

• Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries or discrepancies.

• Provide administrative support including filing, document retrieval, and other finance-related tasks.

• Assist in month-end closing procedures related to payables.

✅ Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in an FMCG company.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially for reconciliations.

• Familiar with IFRS16 and general accounting principles.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Open to Arabic and Asian nationals.

• Currently residing in the UAE.
