The Al Ain Destination Management Lead will lead the development and implementation of tourism strategies in the Al Ain region. The role focuses on managing cultural and tourism activities, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the execution of tourism activation plans to meet the department’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Tourism Strategy Development: Lead the activation and implementation of the tourism strategy for the Al Ain region, aligning with DCT Abu Dhabi’s goals.

Market Research & Development: Conduct research on tourism demand, gaps, and trends in the region to support strategy development.

New Tourism Offerings: Develop and identify new tourism products and services to meet regional targets.

Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with partners, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to support tourism activities and programs.

Event & Program Management: Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of cultural programs, festivals, and tourism activations.

Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics, providing regular reports on project progress, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, focusing on sustainability and global standards.
Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Strategy, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Project Management, Tourism, or a related field
-
4 to 7 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, or a similar role
-
Proficiency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)

Strong administrative skills and attention to detail

Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Experience in program and business planning, especially within tourism or hospitality
-
Knowledge of UAE best practices for rebates and policy management
