Job Summary:

The AMEL Scholarship Programme provides comprehensive training for UAE nationals to become certified aircraft maintenance engineers. The fully sponsored program spans approximately five years and combines theoretical training with practical maintenance experience. Candidates will gain certifications, diplomas, and hands-on experience while receiving a competitive monthly salary.

Programme Details:

Phase 1 – Initial Training (3 years):

• Intensive theoretical and practical training at Emirates Engineering Training College

• Certifications awarded:

  • GCAA certificate

  • Higher Diploma from Emirates Aviation University (attested by Ministry of Higher Education)

  • Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (NQC – MOHESR)

• Monthly salary: AED 8,665

• Concessional tickets for candidate and family

Phase 2 – Practical Maintenance Experience (2 years):

• Hands-on experience maintaining live aircraft

• Qualify for Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (AMEL) from GCAA

• Monthly salary progression:

  • 1st year: AED 21,659

  • 2nd year: AED 22,659

  • Upon completion: AED 23,697

Candidate Requirements:

• UAE National aged 18–24

• Completed Grade 12 with minimum 80%

• Completed National Service

• Medically fit

• Valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid

• English proficiency: TOEFL PBT 510 / IBT 6.5 or IELTS 6

Selection Process:

• Math and Physics Tests

• Panel Interview

• Medical Examination

• Required Documents for Application: CV, Highest Education Certificate, Passport, Emirates ID, Khulasat Al Qaid, National Service Completion Letter
