Smart Powered AI is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Architect to lead the architecture, fine-tuning, and deployment of an on-premise AI-powered call center platform for a UAE federal government project. The system supports 25,000+ voice calls daily across six languages and demands sub-250ms latency with high availability and strict data privacy compliance. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the UAE’s most ambitious AI deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable AI pipelines for real-time STT, TTS, and LLM in telephony systems (150+ concurrent calls)

• Fine-tune and deploy open-source LLMs (e.g., Falcon, LLaMA, Mixtral) on local infrastructure

• Ensure compliance with UAE data residency and offline training standards

• Implement RAG pipelines using structured/unstructured data sources (PDFs, websites, DBs)

• Integrate and optimize multilingual STT (e.g., Whisper, Coqui) and TTS (e.g., XTTS, Bark) systems

• Customize TTS voices for Arabic (Emirati), English, Urdu, Hindi, French, and Tagalog

• Optimize inference performance and design failover strategies for core AI models

• Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, linguists, backend engineers, and telecom experts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related field

• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture, with at least 3 years in LLM/STT/TTS system deployment

• Proficiency with Falcon, LLaMA, Mistral, Whisper, Bark, XTTS, Coqui

• Experience with RAG pipelines (e.g., FAISS, Weaviate, LangChain), PyTorch/TensorFlow

• Strong knowledge of tokenization, quantization (GGUF/GGML), distributed training

• Expertise in working with large-scale vectorized data and embedding models

• Deep understanding of Arabic dialects (especially Emirati) is a strong advantage

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with SIP-based telephony systems

• Knowledge of UAE data protection regulations and AI ethics compliance

• Experience in government/public sector AI deployments

• Background in audio processing, latency optimization, and AV pipelines
