Marriott International is hiring an Agent – At Your Service to work full-time at The St. Regis Dubai The Palm, Palm Jumeirah. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service through efficient management of the telephone switchboard, processing guest requests, and handling inquiries with professionalism and care. The Agent is responsible for ensuring clear communication, timely response to guest needs, and supporting the hotel team to maintain the highest service standards.
Responsibilities:

Operate the telephone switchboard to answer calls promptly and efficiently

Process guest requests including wake-up calls, call identification, and message delivery (voicemail, email, faxes)

Receive, log, and accurately transmit messages and guest inquiries

Record all guest requests and issues in the system and liaise with relevant departments (e.g., bell service, housekeeping) to ensure resolution

Provide guests with information about room features, hotel amenities, and local attractions
-
Assist guests with internet access and other service requests

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
-
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard company assets
-
Greet and recognize guests according to company standards, anticipate needs, and assist guests with disabilities

Communicate clearly and professionally on the phone and in person

Foster positive working relationships and support team objectives

Comply with company policies, dress code, and appearance standards

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
Skills and Qualifications:

Secondary school diploma or GED equivalent
-
No prior work or supervisory experience required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
-
Ability to move objects up to 10 pounds unassisted
