Veblen Director Programme is seeking experienced advisors for its Agritech & Climate-Tech Innovation Advisory Board. This volunteer, remote opportunity is designed for individuals with expertise in strategic growth, insurance and risk modeling, technology and infrastructure, or legal and compliance, particularly in emerging markets. The advisor will guide a purpose-driven technology venture in its next phase of strategic growth, focusing on agritech innovation, climate resilience, and AI-powered tools to assist smallholder farmers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance for scaling a startup in regulated and developing markets.

• Advise on expanding operations internationally, especially across Asia, and navigating insurance and risk modeling, particularly climate insurance.

• Contribute expertise in developing scalable digital platforms, AI integration, satellite imagery, and secure infrastructure.

• Offer legal and compliance advice related to insurance, fintech, and corporate frameworks across borders.

• Help the company expand its footprint into key international markets, drive innovation, and secure partnerships.

Required Expertise:

• Strategic Growth & Market Expansion: Experience scaling startups in emerging markets, with familiarity with foreign investment strategies and corporate structuring in markets such as Singapore or Dubai.

• Insurance & Risk Modeling: Knowledge in climate insurance, actuarial models, and satellite-based risk assessment tools.

• Technology & Infrastructure: Proven experience in building scalable digital platforms, integrating AI and satellite imagery, and insurtech development.
