Job Title: Accounts Receivable Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant with a background in pharma distribution in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Accounts Receivable Management

• Handle invoicing, collections, and payment applications as per customer instructions.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and work with customers to resolve payment issues.
• Apply cash/bank receipts to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain accounts receivable aging reports.

🔹 Financial Records & Reporting

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Generate and send debit/credit notes to customers in a timely manner.

🔹 Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with warehouse, sales, and finance teams to resolve customer billing and payment inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting practices and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
📅 Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Accountant in pharma distribution.
💻 Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
  🔍 Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  🤝 Soft Skills: Good communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.
  📜 Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE accounting regulations is a plus.
