The role involves invoice processing, reconciliation, financial compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and experience in managing payments and records.
Key Responsibilities:
📑 Invoice Processing:
- Review, verify, and process incoming supplier invoices.
- Ensure invoices comply with company policies and contracts.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness in financial documentation.
🔄 Reconciliation & Record Keeping:
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and internal controls.
📊 Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all transactions adhere to tax regulations & accounting standards.
- Assist in financial reporting and provide necessary data for audits.
📞 Communication & Vendor Management:
- Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments for payment-related queries.
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors to resolve issues promptly.
📆 Month-End & Year-End Closing:
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures.
- Prepare reports and support financial statement preparation.
Job Requirements:
🎓 Education & Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or finance roles.
