Al Salehi Machinery & Equipment Repairing, a leading Bosch Diesel Service Center in Dubai, is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. As part of our dynamic organization, you will be responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable functions, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of our company by supporting our AP processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices in line with company policies.

• Payment Processing: Prepare payments for approved invoices, including checks, EFTs, and ACH transactions.

• Data Entry & Coding: Accurately input invoice details, expense allocations, and general ledger coding.

• Vendor Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with vendors and address inquiries regarding payment status.

• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank transactions with general ledger entries to ensure accuracy.

• Month-End Close: Support the month-end closing by ensuring accurate accounts payable entries.

• Compliance: Adhere to relevant financial regulations and company policies.

• Documentation: Keep organized records of all accounts payable transactions and related documents.

• Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on the status of accounts payable and aging analysis.

• Process Improvements: Suggest enhancements to improve the efficiency of AP processes.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues and ensure smooth operations.

• Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with any additional duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience: Relevant experience in accounts payable or a related area is an advantage.

• Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient in accounting software, advanced Excel, and Power BI

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics BC is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills
